Tempo: Chess Clock is built privately, by design. This page describes exactly what data the app handles, who sees it, and how long it is kept. It is short because there is very little to say.

What we collect

Nothing. Tempo does not collect, transmit, or store any personal information. There are no accounts, no sign-ins, and no servers we operate.

What stays on your device

Your selected time control, sound and haptic preferences, wallpaper choice, and which side plays White are saved on your device using Apple's standard local storage (UserDefaults). This information never leaves your device. It is removed when you delete the app.

Third parties

Tempo includes no third-party SDKs, analytics, advertising, or tracking technologies. The app does not communicate with any servers, including ours.

Children

Tempo is rated 4+ and is appropriate for all ages. Because the app collects no information from anyone, it does not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under the applicable age in your region).

Purchases

Tempo is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. Apple processes the transaction. Apple's handling of your purchase information is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy, not this one.

Permissions

Tempo does not request access to your microphone, camera, contacts, photos, location, calendar, health data, or any other sensitive system resource.

Changes to this policy

If the app's privacy practices ever change, this page will be updated and the effective date above will change with it. The current version is always the one you see here.
